
Our residents have a Memorandum of Understanding between the County of Monterey and the SEIU – Service Employees International Union Local 521. Resident Physician I - $ 46,020
Resident Physician II - $ 50,940
Resident Physician III - $ 57,012

Employee +2 or more - $100/mo
Moving expenses: $2,000
Educational Reimbursement: $1,650 per year
Bilingual Pay: $42 per pay period
Professional Stipend: $50 per month
Medical Records completion incentive: $150 per month
Paid Time Off (PTO): 29 days per year (includes 10 holidays)
Educational leave with pay: R1's – 3 days & R2's and R3's – 5 days
Life Insurance: $20,000
Meals and white coats provided
Chief Residents: $2,000 for educational purposes.
