How to Apply to our Program

Our Residency Program accepts applications through ERAS, the Electronic Residency Application Service, available at your medical school. International Medical Graduate applicants use ERAS through the ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates): 215-386-5900.

We will be accepting applications through December 1st. Interviews take place from early November through January. If you are selected to interview, you will be contacted either by phone or e-mail.

We will begin reviewing applications and arranging interviews as soon as the following are received:

bulletCommon Application Form (CAF)
bulletPersonal Statement - Please address:

1) Desire to work with a rural or other underserved population
2) Desire for OB experience
3) Ability to speak or learn Spanish
4) Where you wish to practice after graduation
5) A list of your senior rotations

bulletLetters of Recommendation (2 or more)
bulletMedical School Transcript

The Dean’s Letter must be received by the time of your interview.

NOTE: International Graduates must obtain a Postgraduate Training Authorization Letter (as required by the California Medical Board) in order to be considered on match day.

Please submit your materials early – the ERAS system gets extremely busy the last day or two.
