Meet the Team from Huron Consultants:

William T. Foley, Natividad's Interim CEO, is a health care systems turnaround veteran with Huron Consulting Group's Wellspring Partners, is Natividad's new chief executive officer. Mr. Foley has extensive experience in dealing with the public and employee relations, which is an integral aspect of his new job at Natividad Medical Center. Foley is known both for his experience with turning around struggling health care systems and his collaborative management approach.

Mr. Foley, 56, previously served as president and CEO of Provena Health in Mokena, Ill., and Catholic Healthcare West in Phoenix, guiding turnaround efforts there. He served in senior management roles at Catholic Health Initiatives in Denver and the University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia.

Mr. Foley has said, "Huron and I are committed to Natividad's mission of providing quality and compassionate patient care to the people in the community. I will be hitting the ground running as we enter the second phase of Natividad's road to financial well-being."

Dr. Jan Radke, Chief Medical Officer is a physician executive who has held leadership positions in complex healthcare organizations for over 20 years. Dr. Radke's considerable management and turnaround success has been achieved in academic medical centers, large multi-specialty physician group practices, faculty practice plans and tertiary-level acute care facilities and community hospitals.  He has also held several administrative positions in medical schools and acute care setting, including vice president overseeing hospital and ambulatory care, strategic planning, patient care services and joint ventures. Dr. Radke’s accomplishments range from ambulatory care network planning, development and operations to the profitable and efficient implementation of several risk-based managed care contracts; formation of and operational responsibility for a large-scale faculty practice plan; and implementation and management of several joint venture relationships producing positive bottom lines and excellent care coordination.
He received his M.D.from University of Wisconsin, a B.S. from Michigan State University& is board certified in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification, ABIM Pulmonary Medicine American College of Physician Executives.


 


Harry Weis, Natividad CFO
, is a Director at Huron Consulting Group. His healthcare career spans more than 29 years in both for-profit and not-for-profit and individual and multi-hospital settings. Harry’s healthcare career began in a very financially troubled rural county hospital in 1977 where he served in several staff, director, and executive roles concurrently. Harry’s career continued to advance when he went to California working as a CFO in individual for-profit hospitals, and then promoted to various corporate, regional, and divisional CFO positions.
Harry was also actively involved in interactions with Executive Teams who were contemplating selling their hospital and the financial analysis and purchase of many hospitals across the country.
