The Laboratory Department is staffed for inpatient services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for blood collection, specimen processing, analytical testing and results reporting. The Outpatient Laboratory is open Monday through Friday 7:30 am until 5:00 pm.
The Pharmacy Department provides pharmaceutical services for all inpatients with acute and chronic diseases. There is a pharmacist on call during off-hours and for emergency situations.
The Radiology Department provides inpatient and outpatient radiology studies utilizing leading edge technology including nuclear medicine, fluoroscopic exams, ultrasound, mammography, computerized tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, bone density measurement, and interventional radiology.
The Case Management Services Department utilizes registered nurses who work directly with attending physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and outside agencies to organize appropriate levels of care and a safe discharge plan.
Health Information Management Services
The Health Information Management department collects and processes patient information. Services include release of patient information, transcription, assembly and analysis, birth and death registries, record retrieval for reviews and patient care appointments, physician services and discharge data collection.
Cafeteria & Vending Machines
The cafeteria is located on the first floor. It is open Monday through Friday (except holidays) for breakfast 6:30 AM – 10:00 AM, lunch from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM for dinner. Visitors are welcome to eat in the cafeteria any time it is open. Fresh food and beverage machines are available 24 hours on the visitor side cafeteria and on the second floor in the sitting area.
Nourishing and well-balanced meals are an important part of each patient’s treatment and recovery. Natividad Medical Center makes every effort to provide nutritious meals that follow the doctor’s diet order.
We ask that patients do not consume food from outside the hospital, unless approved by the doctor. A menu will be provided on a daily basis for patients to choose their meal selections for the following day. Patient meals are served at the following times:
Breakfast 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM
Lunch 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
Dinner 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Guest meal trays are available by calling ext. 4206 prior to the start of meal service. Guest trays must be pre-paid and are delivered with the patient tray.
