Howard and Lynn Classen Professional Development Awards Hosted by Natividad Medical Foundation June 15th

Natividad Medical Foundation will host the 4th Annual Howard & Lynn Classen Professional Development Awards June 15th at 12:00 pm in the Center Courtyard between the inpatient building and the Barnet J Segal Outpatient Services Center. Scholarships will be awarded through a “lottery style” drawing on Applicants are not required to be present to win. Six scholarships will be awarded this year:

• One $500 award
• Two $300 awards
• Three $150 awards

Those individuals qualified to apply are any Natividad Medical Center or Foundation Employee who works at least 1,040 hours/year, any Natividad Medical Center Volunteer who donates at least 25 hours each month for a period of more than or enrolled in any course designed to improve the employee’s overall performance at Natividad Medical Center* (i.e. healthcare related educational course; English as a Second Language; Spanish; Tagalog; Computer skills, etc.).

The Awards were established by former Natividad CEO, Howard Classen and his wife, Lynn to honor and encourage the professional development of Natividad and Foundation employees and volunteers.
