Pediatric Department

The Pediatric Department, certified by California Children’s Services, provides continuous care with board-certified pediatricians available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our highly skilled nursing staff is specially trained in pediatric care, ensuring that every child receives expert, compassionate attention.

Our bright, cheerful playrooms create a positive and nurturing environment designed to support each child’s healing and comfort. Understanding that a hospital stay can be unfamiliar and stressful, our caring team is dedicated to making every patient feel safe, supported and at ease.

Located on the third floor of the inpatient building, the 12-bed Pediatric Department offers comprehensive acute nursing care for children from birth through 17 years of age with a variety of medical and surgical needs. A family kitchenette is available for parents to prepare favorite meals and snacks, helping bring the comforts of home to the hospital setting.

We are proud to be a Baby-Friendly Certified Hospital, which means that we support breastfeeding. All of our staff have been trained to help moms with breastfeeding. If at any time you have a question regarding what it means to be “Baby-Friendly,” please feel free to ask.
