Dave Potter
Chair and Ex-Officio Member
District 5 Supervisor for Monterey County
Dave Potter is the Supervisor to the constituents of the Fifth
District of the County of Monterey and also serves on numerous Board
of Supervisor committees including the Board of Supervisors’
Legislative Committee, Capital Improvements Committee, Fort Ord
Committee, Equal Opportunity Commission, the California Oak
Mortality Task Force, Cultural Council for Monterey County and the
Monterey County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. Dave serves as an
alternate for Monterey Bay Unified Air Pollution Control District,
and the California State Association of Counties Board of Directors.
A resident of Monterey County since 1970, he has owned and operated
Potter Construction since 1974. |

Kelly O’Keefe, M.D.
Medical Director of Community Health Plan
Dr. O’Keefe is currently the Medical Director of Community Health Plan, a non-profit community healthcare services organization in Monterey. Dr. O'Keefe holds over 30 years of experience in academics and healthcare, including community medical practice, hospital and healthcare administration. Dr. O’Keefe has practiced pathology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, fulfilled both medical staff and physician executive roles at the Dominican Hospital, and served as Chief Medical Officer of the Monterey Bay Region of Catholic Healthcare West. Dr. O'Keefe received his BS degree from Washington State University, a Doctorate of Philosophy in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Illinois, and a Medical Doctorate from the University Of Miami School Of Medicine.

Rodney Braga
Managing Partner, Braga Ranch
Rodney Braga is a Managing Partner at Braga Ranch, a produce company
based in Soledad and has over 15 years of experience in management
positions in the produce industry. He received a degree in business
administration and finance from St. Mary’s College in Moraga,
California. An active member of the community, he has served on
numerous boards and committees including Terra Captive, an insurance
group, United Way of Monterey County, Pacific Valley Bank, United
Vegetable Growers Cooperative and the Grower Shipper Association of
Central California.

Margaret Eaton, Pharm.D., J.D.
Lecturer, Graduate School of Business, Stanford University
Margaret Eaton, J.D. is a lecturer in management at the Graduate
School of Business at Stanford University. She received her J.D. Cum
Laude from the Hastings College of Law at the University of
California at San Francisco and her Doctor of Pharmacy from Duquesne
University College of Pharmacy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She has
over 33 years of professional experience in the fields of
healthcare, law, and academia and has held positions on numerous
boards and committees including the Stanford Medical School
Institutional Review Board, Stanford University Hospital Ethics
Committee and the Ethics Committee for the Santa Clara County
Medical Association.

John O’Brien
CEO and President of Central Coast Senior Services, Inc.
John O’Brien is CEO and President of Central Coast Senior Services,
Inc. and has more than 20 years of professional experience in the
health care industry. A graduate of the University of California,
Santa Cruz, O'Brien has worked as vice president and director at
Community Home Care, Inc., director of case management at Country
Home Care, and director of senior supportive services at Alliance on
Aging. He has provided leadership for numerous non-profit
organizations, such as the Community Healthcare Corporation,
Monterey Regional Health Development Group, Inc., and the Central
Coast Area Health Education.

Roy Robbins
Business and Financial Consultant and a part-time teacher for the
Salinas Unified School District.
Roy Robbins is a Business and Financial Consultant and a part-time
teacher for the Salinas Unified School District. A retired CPA, he
earned his M.B.A. in finance from the University of California at
Berkeley. He has served over twenty-five years in healthcare as a
chief financial officer and vice president of Washoe Health System
and on the board of directors of the Washoe Health System, the
Central Coast Hospice Foundation, and the Nevada Hospital
Association. He currently serves on the board for the Renown Medical
Center in Reno, Nevada, the California Coast Rural Development
Corporation, and the All Saint’s Episcopal Day School finance
committee. |

Lew C. Bauman
County Administrative Officer of Monterey County
Lew Bauman has served as County Administrative Officer of Monterey
County since January 2005. As CAO, Mr. Bauman oversees the
preparation, adoption, and administration of the County’s $1 billion
budget and coordinates the activities of other County departments to
ensure the effective accomplishment of the Board's directions and
policies. As CAO, he is the day-to-day manager of a County
government and represents the County and Board of Supervisors in a
variety of activities.Lew attended UCLA where he obtained a M.S.
and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering. His professional background includes
experience as an environmental consultant, as well as administrative
and engineering capacities with the City of San Jose and the City of
Foster City. He is a Board of United Way of Monterey County,
American Society of Civil Engineers, American Public Works
Association, and previously served as Director, South Central Coast
Section, of the County Engineers’ Association of California. |

Alexander Di Stante, M.D.
Chief of Staff, Natividad Medical Center
Dr. Alexander Di Stante is the Vice Chief of Staff and Surgical
Services Director at Natividad Medical Center. He is Board certified
in Surgical Critical Care and General Surgery and received his
medical degree from the Ponce School of Medicine in 1991. He
completed a residency in General Surgery at the Western Reserve Care
System in Ohio and the Polyclinic Medical Center in Pennsylvania,
and in Surgical Critical Care at the University of California,
Irvine.
Dr. Di Stante was previously an Assistant Professor of Surgery and
Trauma at the University of California Irvine and in private
practice in Tampa, Florida and Santa Rosa, California. He resides in
Salinas. |

Harry Weis
Chief Executive Officer, Natividad Medical Center
Harry Weis is the Chief Executive Officer for the Natividad Medical
Center. Weis began his professional career in 1977 and has over 31
years of experience in executive healthcare administration with a
strong success record in profitability and turnarounds. He has
managed both for-profit and not-for-profit hospitals and has played
a role in reinventing healthcare delivery. Weis has managed many
complex financial situations, including hospitals in poor financial
condition, hospitals with public financial offerings and selling
hospitals.
Weis most recently served as Director of Wellspring Management
Services, LLC, the company contracted with Natividad to manage the
hospital during its time of transition.
Mr. Weis earned a Master of Health Administration from the
University of LaVerne and a Bachelor of Business Administration in
Accounting from Southwestern Adventist University. |
