We love and appreciate our dedicated volunteers at Natividad. Their warm smiles and comforting demeanors enhance the patient experience by providing personalized assistance to patients and visitors. Volunteers are a key part of the extraordinary care we provide.
Our volunteers develop a variety of transferable skills while serving at Natividad. Volunteers gain leadership skills and often learn more about themselves through their work and the connections they make working on a team. Our opportunities further develop problem solving skills, adaptability, professionalism, and communicating with people of all backgrounds and ages.
Volunteers are assigned according to their interests and skills. Opportunities include:
Greet visitors and new patients, dispense general information, direct and accompany visitors to their destinations.
Perform office duties (typing, filing, etc.) in patient and non-patient care departments.
Stock and sell items; operate our volunteers’ fundraising shop.
Interact, disseminate information and enhance the visitation experience of patients and visitors.
Eucharistic ministers pray, comfort and offer communion to patients
Assist with supply deliveries and stocking of materials.
Under guidance, assist in preparation and serving of meals in the cafeteria
Experienced photographer, videographer and/or graphic designer to assist in documenting the volunteer experience.
