Nursing Education Programs

The Nursing Education Department is committed to supporting, planning and coordinating interdisciplinary Staff Development programs. We collaborate with our physicians, interns, residents, and ancillary care services to provide educational opportunities.

We are committed to providing support for Specialty Nursing Certification to demonstrate that our nurses have met rigorous national requirements and are role models of professional accountability. Through structured classes, simulation, seminars, online education, and conferences, our nurses learn from some of the most renowned nursing leaders and educators in the country.

We maintain affiliation with professional organizations, universities, colleges, and other health care agencies. We offer CEUs to staff and other medical professionals in the community.

Our department has an infrastructure to provide opportunities for lifelong professional growth. We offer courses through physician and nursing trauma educational organizations to include TNCC and ATLS. We also offer the full scope of American Heart Association Courses and the American Academy of Pediatrics on a monthly basis for staff, physicians, and outside medical professionals.
