Dr. Melissa B. Nothnagle is a nationally recognized leader in family medicine education. She was named a 2021 Gold Level Program Director by the Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors and received the 2022 Inspire Award from the American Medical Women’s Association for her academic and clinical work in reproductive justice. In 2026, she was honored with the prestigious Nikitas J. Zervanos Outstanding Program Director Award by the Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
