Five new faculty have joined NMC’s residency program

SALINAS,CA – October 11, 2015 – The five new doctors include two former U.S. Navy flight surgeons, a primary care physician with 14 years of experience, a Mexico native with extensive medical research, volunteer and teaching experience and a family medicine physician originally from Peru who spent a year providing comprehensive medical care to 2,000 people in the rural areas of Amazonas in Peru.

The residency program was founded in 1975 in affiliation with the University of California, San Francisco, which continues to provide support for research and scholarly projects.

New members:

Dr. Eric Parsons joins the program after serving 14 years as a primary care physician specializing in family medicine with obstetrics and procedures in Kent, Wash.

Dr. Eloy Romero joins the staff after a three-year family medicine residency at Natividad.
