Natividad understands that having loved ones by your side can help with your healing and care. To promote healing, safety and ensure patient privacy, please be aware of the Intensive Care Unit Visitation Guidelines. These guidelines may be adjusted based on the patient’s needs or situation in the ICU.

- Please notify the nurse when bringing personal medical equipment and patient assistive devices such as glasses, dentures, or hearing aids to the hospital so that items can be entered into the medical record.
- Please help us provide a quiet, calm, restful environment to promote healing.
- Taking pictures or videos of patients or staff is not allowed.
- You may visit a patient via video instead of in person. Please ask our staff for help arranging a video visit with a patient. The ICU has a designated device that we can use for virtual visitation. Please ask for assistance.
- If you are visiting a patient who is in insolation, the nurse will explain the appropriate isolation procedures.
- We limit two contact persons per patient for updates or patient information. These names will be listed in the medical record and will be contacted in case of emergency or if patient condition changes.
- Trauma rounds take place Monday through Friday at 11:00 am. Family members or support persons are welcome to participate during rounds.
