Our visiting student rotations invite currently enrolled medical students to explore full spectrum family medicine in a public safety net hospital and prepare them for residency. Visiting students work in teams with our residents and faculty and attend morning report and didactics sessions, which allows them to get a good sense of the Natividad resident experience.
Spanish proficiency is preferred but not required.
Completing a rotation at Natividad is not required for applicants to the residency program.
Housing
We provide free housing within walking distance of the hospital in a shared furnished apartment for visiting students.

Rotation Scheduling
We offer two to three spots at a time to students who are dedicated to pursuing family medicine in underserved communities. There are no designated start or end dates for these clerkships, so that different university clerkship schedules can be accommodated.
